The Waze of paraglidingComing soon

Plan the day, fly with real-time advice, understand your flights afterwards. XC Route brings together what is scattered across several tools today, and takes each one a step further.

What the assistant will tell you in flight

  • “Leave this thermal: you are high enough to reach the next one.”
  • “You are past the strongest part of the thermal, start your glide.”
  • “Light headwind: speed up to reach the next ridge higher.”

What makes a great XC flight: average speed

On a long distance flight, average speed is what matters first. XC Route helps you raise it, on the ground and in the air.

  1. Find the right lines in 3D: when to shift over, which line to follow.
  2. Balance climbing and gliding, without always going to cloud base.
  3. Rely on detailed weather (wind, thermal strength and height hour by hour), adjusted to the actual conditions of the day.

The whole flight, end to end

Each tool feeds the others: the best pilots’ flights and archived weather give the routes, analysis calibrates the in-flight advice.

Plan

Routes already flown from your take-off, ranked by speed, and today’s weather to pick the region, the area and the time.

Fly

The Android assistant records your flight and advises you in real time, alongside your vario (Vector Vario already supported).

Analyse

Flight phases, thermalling quality, glides, and comparison with the best pilots on the same route to see where to improve.

Keep your logbook

Upload your XContest history or IGC files: logbook, season statistics and your pilot rating in two minutes.

Beta open to Alpine clubs

XC Route is built with pilots. Write to us to try the first tools with your club this winter.
